Dominique Portet | Brut Rosé | LD 'Light Dosage'

- +

Winemaker Dominique Portet left his home town of Bordeaux, France in search of a cool climate vineyard site in the far away region of Yarra Valley in Victoria to replicate the exceptional wines he was raised with.

He settled on the Coldstream Hills and the first plantings of vines were seeded in the year 2000. Dominique and future generations including son Ben, have since proven to critics, customers and the like that they worthy of a prized place in Australian wine history!

Raise your glass and celebrate this Light Dosage sparkling which is made in the traditional method in small quantities. Pretty red fruit fill the glass with berries and classic patisserie notes dancing in the glass. This cuvee is all class. An absolute stunner.

Awards & Reviews

This is a traditional method blend of 50% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay and 20% pinot meunier, all grown in the Yarra Valley. Held on lees for 2 years prior to disgorgement and a light dosage. A totally delicious and elegantly poised wine, with fresh red fruits of every description dancing around on the bouquet and palate alike, the finish harmonious. JAMES HALLIDAY
